Ideal candidates can be men or women who are generally healthy but desire to improve the appearance of their skin. It can be used to treat any desired areas on the face and body.
Generally, the number of sessions, their duration and spacing are decided based on consultations with the clinician. However, many people see improvements within the first 3 to 5 treatments, improving the most after the third treatment. These are spaced four to six weeks apart.
Booster or top-up treatments can be every 3 – 6 months after the clinical endpoint desired is achieved.
Although the treatment creates tiny holes in your skin, all you will experience is heat and pressure. Most people tolerate the treatment. However, we will apply a topical anaesthetic cream to prevent any discomfort. After the treatment, we will also apply a soothing mask on your face to help with the redness, swelling and mild discomfort.
During the recovery process, you might experience mild stinging sensations, redness and swelling. You will be asked to avoid washing your face and applying makeup and other cosmetics for the next 24 hours, following which you can resume your regular non active skin care activities.
